Wine background
Produced in very limited quantities from a little over 1 hectare of estate vines, and first released in 1990. Typically intense, the wine is fruit- rather than oak-driven. The wine has won numerous gold medals.
Intense green-yellow; complex, rich barrel ferment inputs to the ripe peach and melon fruit of the bouquet are followed by an intense and tight palate, with particularly good acidity, and the oak far less overt than it is on the bouquet. Certain to age well.
